July Wearin' O The Green Socks

These are the socks made from one of Tama's patterns and her sock yarn.

I'm excited about the possibility of another KAL.While I've enjoyed posting my monthly projects on Tails, I've missed everybody working on the same thing and seeing all the different ways we interpret the same pattern. I hope others will join in.

July Projects Finished!

I accomplished a LOT in July! These, plus several hats, for Wool Aid, and some socks for a friend. The photo for the wocks mysteriously disappeared from my desktop. Oh well. The socks shown here are my own sock version of the Lunacy Hat. The green hat is Knotty but Nice, and the red hat is Tortora Hat, all from Knitty.com. The red hat is knit from Lamb's Pride Bulky, the other two are with Lamb's Pride Worsted.

Calling All Knitters!

I am sure many of you have now in your possession the two newest sock books Knitting Socks from around the World and Knitting Knee-Highs.  I just got mine today, and as a result of extreme excitement am having a hard time typing so please forgive errors in this post.

I am thinking we should do a KAL or two from these books!!  Anybody interested?  Let me know in the comments which socks you are dieing to knit and we'll vote on a couple to do.  I am sure that at some point I will knit every pair of these new patterns at least once so I am not particular at all where I start :)

Let me know and we will try to start the KAL September 1st!!  Prizes, of course, for those who complete the KAL's in the allotted time.
