Thank you!

I am sad that the blog is closing, and I shall miss stopping by to look at so many lovely projects.  I wish you all the best!

Happy holidays and may you have a Happy and Prosperous 2012!

Thanks!

I am sad that the blog is closing, but have been wondering how long we could hang on with such poor participation. I will miss it. Thank you, Tama, for your generosity in the monthly gifts (including the lovely yarn I received today for the October drawing!) I have Twisted Hare in my bookmarks and will continue to check there when I'm looking for a special yarn to purchase.

November Winner and Announcement

JardinRouge is our November winner!!  Very lovely stuff I must say.  Please email me with your address so I can get your prize sent out.

The announcement is that Barb and I have decided that since the participation for this blog has remained extremely low that we will be closing the blog effective imediately.  We had hoped that by giving you an opportunity to post more than just socks that the participation would go up from what we had at Sockamania.  However, members posting has only been three or four for the last several months indicating that there is very little interest.

We hope that you all have a lovely holiday season and a wonderful new year.

Take Care,
Tama and Barb

Some November Projects

Just One More Round Wristwarmers by Cat Bordhi. Pattern on Ravelry from Knitty.com.
Yarn is Happy Feet DK stranded with Knit Picks Shadow (lace weight).

Woodland Mitten(s) from a Knit Picks kit of 6 pair, all in Palette Yarn. This is the November mitten in the bright colorway. Second mitten is on the needles, and a matching hat is in the plan also. By Christmas? We'll see.
Both are gifts for daughters-in-law.
