Some November Projects

Just One More Round Wristwarmers by Cat Bordhi. Pattern on Ravelry from Knitty.com.
Yarn is Happy Feet DK stranded with Knit Picks Shadow (lace weight).

Woodland Mitten(s) from a Knit Picks kit of 6 pair, all in Palette Yarn. This is the November mitten in the bright colorway. Second mitten is on the needles, and a matching hat is in the plan also. By Christmas? We'll see.
Both are gifts for daughters-in-law.

I'm finished my first Christmas sock today but I doubt I will be able to finish 2nd sock until next month.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Garnets in November

I wanted something pretty for the cooler weather. The wristers don't match the beret, although they were intended to complement the hat. I hope next year to add another something in the same colourways. I absolutely love this yarn...it is perfect for colourwork, and I am gradually acquiring a nice little stash for future projects!

Beret pattern: Amaryllis (by Mary Ann Stephens) Needles: 3.25mm
Wristers: my own design Needles: 2.75mm
Yarn: KnitPicks Palette - 307 yards (total garnet yardage only)

Thanks Tama!

Thanks Tama for the wonderful prize! You are most generous!

I didn't get anything finished in October. But I did finish a shawl yesterday (that took me most of two months to knit) No photo yet, it still needs to be blocked.

November 2011 Completed

Late Hour Shawl by Kristina Vilimaite. Knitted in gold Nashua Superwash.

2 Noah's Ark baby blankets...the only difference between the 2 is the color of the boat and the trim on the house. Would have been done earlier but I had misplaced the pattern so I couldn't finish the giraffe. This would be my 4th & 5th time completing this pattern.

Hopefully, later this month I will finally my done with my tablecloth...in the meantime, I'm looking forward to casting on Tama's Socks for Christmas.
