I am sure many of you have now in your possession the two newest sock books Knitting Socks from around the World and Knitting Knee-Highs. I just got mine today, and as a result of extreme excitement am having a hard time typing so please forgive errors in this post.
I am thinking we should do a KAL or two from these books!! Anybody interested? Let me know in the comments which socks you are dieing to knit and we'll vote on a couple to do. I am sure that at some point I will knit every pair of these new patterns at least once so I am not particular at all where I start :)
Let me know and we will try to start the KAL September 1st!! Prizes, of course, for those who complete the KAL's in the allotted time.

I don't have one of these books ..... so no KAL for me ... :-(((
I'm a definite maybe. I don't have either book, but would be willing to purchase the Knitted Socks from Around the World, especially since I think i can get it at Michael's or JoAnn's with a 40% off coupon. Knitpicks has Around the World in Knitted Socks by Stephanie van der Linden on their 40% off book sale, so that could be an alternative also. I'm not a fan of knee socks, so would not buy that book.
I think I'll have to pass on this KAL as I don't have either book.
I don't wear knee highs, nor does my daughter, so that one is out for me.
If, however, a sock was to be selected from Around the World.... I might be persuaded to purchase the book at that time :)
